Qualifications: The Board of Stewardship shall consist of no less than seven. Board members must be people of mature Christian experience and knowledge, sound in faith and of good report, according to the scriptural standards of Acts 6 and I Timothy 3:8-13. They shall have been a Member of the JCC family a minimum of one year, unless Membership was granted by letter of transfer with high recommendation from former Pastor and/or church board.
Board of Stewardship qualifications:
1. Active in small group leadership and/or ministry.
2. Positive attitude. Ability to keep confidence.
3. Active in tithing and giving and attendance
4. Meets the Biblical characteristics of 1 Timothy 3 and Acts 6.
5. Current signer of Membership Covenant
6. Provides some needed competency of expertise to assist the church in its function (the most important expertise being demonstrated wise family leadership as defined in 1 Timothy 3).
7. Member of the JCC family for at least one year
8. They shall not be a Journey Church employee.
9. They shall not serve together with a member from the same paternal or maternal family (immediate family unit).
10. NOT currently serving on the Elder Team
